Not so long ago Blogger has changed the process of backing up files, more specifically Posts and Comments. However, it was possible to download them before, but the previous one-click option was much easier. Now, you need to go to the general section of your Google profile and already from there to do, attention "order" 😁 to download, after which you receive an e-mail notification and a link to download the data. Fun 😀

But the trick is that in the files that you will download, everything is there except the Messages themselves, what I clicked on all these buttons and links for is missing.😀 Without thinking for a long time, I decided to create a tool that will help all of us to save the most valuable thing, our everything, our content. And it can be done in a couple of clicks.

How to restore Posts in Blogger

I think you have already understood how to save Posts, everything is clear there. And in order to restore them, or upload them to another blog, you need to go to Settings - Manage Blog and click on Import Content. After that, you download the previously saved copy of the posts from your device.

This is version 1.0 so far it only saves Messages without comments and categories (labels), but I think I'll bring it up to speed soon.
